Supply Chain Dive reported that Shein opened a 737,000-square-foot automated distribution warehouse in Lebanon, Indiana. A company spokesperson told the publication the building uses a goods-to-person system that brings product to the workstation, with the stated aims of fewer manual moves and a safer job for the people on the floor. The site is about 1.5 miles from Shein’s existing Indiana operation.

Goods-to-person changes who walks. It does not remove the drives, the sensors, or the bin path. The crew that keeps that path moving is the same trade Faultline is written for.
